Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Getting Framerate & Loading Time Improvements Soon

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 how to save

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 did not release in the most technically sound state that it could have, with numerous bugs and performance issues bringing down the experience significantly. These issues have plagued all versions of the game, with one of the biggest problems being the ridiculously long loading times. The developer is aware of the issues, and has now revealed that fixes are on the way.

Developer CI Games issued a statement on these problems, revealing what their focuses are currently with the game. They said that before they “release any more content for the game, we have dedicated staff working diligently to further optimize Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 to ensure fewer issues with framerate and loading times. Only once we feel that proper headway has been made on the system performance, will we begin adding extras such as the much-requested multiplayer component.”

This is great news to hear, because there’s plenty of additional content coming to the game that could have otherwise gotten in the way of the much-needed fixes. There are too many big technical issues with the game right now that get in the way of it being worth playing, so the developer needs to do everything they can to get all of that sorted out. The game was already delayed in order to address bugs and performance issues, but apparently it wasn’t enough time. An ETA for when these fixes might be coming wasn’t given, but we at least know it’s their primary focus.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We reviewed the Xbox One version of the game recently, and noted all of the bugs and performance issues that have been pointed out by just about everyone else. However, there’s the potential for this game to be worth checking out if the many technical issues can be addressed, so hopefully the developer is able to do that in a timely manner before players move on entirely.
