This year has been a very big year for the Atlanta based developer, Hi-Rez Studios, specifically their free-to-play MOBA, Smite. From adding the new Japanese pantheon which brought with it playable characters such as Amaterasu, Raijin and more to releasing multiple in-game events throughout the year.
And to close out the year, Hi-Rez Studios is doing it in a big way as starting today all tier of purchasable gem packs are discounted by 33%. Below you’ll see the prices of the gem packs reflected with the sale discount:
- 200 Gems: 3.34 USD
- 400 Gems: 5.35 USD
- 800 Gems: 10.04 USD
- 1500 Gems: 16.74 USD
- 2500 Gems: 23.44 USD
- 35000 Gems: 33.49 USD
- 8000 Gems: 66.99 USD
*It should be noted that this sale only seems live for both the PC and Xbox One platforms. No word yet on if the PlayStation 4 user base will be included in the gem sale.
For those who have been patiently awaiting on a gem sale after missing the last one that occurred back during Black Friday, this might possibly be your last chance to get a few gems for cheap. Especially for those who want to finish out this year’s Odyssey event and earn the very limited tier 5 skin for Anubis without shelling out a serious amount of cash.
Alongside Smite’s in-game currency being on sale, it also seems that the Ultimate God Pack which gives you access to all current and future gods for one low price has also received a pretty big discount. As you can snag the Ultimate God Pack for almost 50% off on the Steam store or Xbox Live marketplace. Which I may add is a big steal for those who are looking for a new game to play, or new MOBA to try out as the game currently has 83 playable characters to choose from with more being added on monthly basis. Including the reveal of the 84th playable character from the yet to be announced Celtic pantheon which will be revealed during the Hi-Rez Expo event that takes place from January 5th – January 8th of 2017.
Smite is a free-to-play MOBA for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One platforms.
