The whole ancient war between the Assassins and Templars is mystifying enough at times. Add in an evil corporation bent on going back in time by accessing ancestral memories and some dude with a hoodie seemingly caught in the middle of a bad situation, and you have on your hands one heck of a story. But don’t fret. Thanks to the Ubiworkshop Edition of Assassin’s Creed III, you can now own an encyclopedia that covers in detail all you need to know about the Assassin/Templar conflict.
Available for preorder exclusively at Ubiworkshop.com, this special edition of Assassin’s Creed III comes bundled with the second edition of the Assassin’s Creed Encyclopedia and a new graphic novel for $99. While the encyclopedia contains everything you’ll ever need to know about the feud between the Assassins and Templars, the novel titled, Assassin’s Creed Subject 4, contains the entire Daniel Cross/Nikolaï Orelov Assassin’s Creed narrative arc. It includes not only The Fall, but also the currently unreleased The Chain comic book series.
Regardless of whether or not you ever plan on making it past the encyclopedia’s table of contents, any fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise should immediately jump on the Assassin’s Creed III Ubiworkshop Edition. For $100, you’re getting a $60 game, a massive 330 page encyclopedia (normally costing $50 alone) and a graphic novel containing two $20 comic stories.
If you plan on joining Ratonhnhaké:ton in Revolutionary America this Fall, this bundle is well worth the $100 asking price. But act quickly, the price is valid until July 4th when it will see a $10 raise. We’re guessing that Independence Day is significant within Assassin’s Creed III other than simply making you squeak out another Hamilton.
